From Angelica Negrón’s work for solo violin and electronics titled “The Violinist " as part of the Helsinki Philharmonic’s Kohtaamisia-Klubi series.

“The Encounters Club, hosted this time by Polish/American violinist Liam Mansfield, seeks to push the boundaries of classical performance through fusion with dance and electronics. Mansfield, who also works as a producer, DJ, and record label head, opens the club night with The Violinist, a piece for violin and electronics by American composer Angélica Negrón – this will be the European premiere of the piece.

The popular Encounters Club is an arena for creative ideas and surprising encounters with performances by the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra’s musicians and friends."
